Magical Life: Build in Secret, Celebrate in Public

Living a magical life is learning a secret recipe to success –  hidden in plain sight yet accessible only to a chosen few.

The ability to achieve in silence and celebrate in style can seem like a lost art form in a culture that frequently prioritizes oversharing and instant gratification. But this strategy not only has the secret to success; it also has similarities to the basic laws of magic, which, when applied to everyday life, open up a whole new range of opportunities.

A magical Life

A magical Life

Imagine if life’s strategies mirrored the art of magic, where silence speaks volumes and achievements are the grand reveal.

Two weeks ago, I read a newsletter that discusses the fundamental rules of magic that apply to life as well. I will share these rules in this article, but we will get to it later.

Just Last week Thursday, I saw a short article from Instagram that confirmed this theory:

MOVE SILENTLY, CELEBRATE PUBLICLY

Buy land in secret. Build the house in secret. Then do the housewarming party with publicity.

Date in secret. Propose in secret. Then marry in front of a crowd.

Let your haters only see your reality, never your vision, or you will have division.

In a game of chess, you don’t speak. You just act. The only time that you ever speak when playing chess is to say checkmate.

Life is like chess. Don’t broadcast your intentions. Act quietly.

Keep achieving. Your achievements are your checkmate.

In other words, you must achieve in silence and celebrate in style.

THE WISDOM OF THE SILENT CONQUEROR

Become the Silent Conqueror.

The mindset of the “Silent Conqueror” provides a novel viewpoint in a world that frequently confuses noise for success. True success comes from taking deliberate, quiet action rather than announcing our intentions to the world.

When Apostle Paul said “and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life and attend to your own business and work with your hands, just as we commanded you, so that you will behave properly toward outsiders and not be in any need,  I understand his words better now.

It’s often best to show your success before you show workings.

THE 4 RULES OF MAGIC (FOR A MAGICAL LIFE TOO)

Interestingly, the principles of the “Silent Conqueror” philosophy align with the fundamental rules of magic, as outlined in the newsletter I mentioned earlier. These rules serve as a framework for achieving success through strategic silence and calculated reveals.

Now, these were the 4 fundamental rules of magic I got from the newsletter:

Rule 1: Do not perform the same trick in front of the same audience too many times.

By mathematical probability, you’re bound to slip and the trick would be figured out eventually.

Just perform it well one time and let them retell the legend.

In life, stop oversharing or constantly broadcasting your plans, as doing so can diminish the impact of your achievements.

Rule 2: A good performance is a dramatic one.

Creating a sense of anticipation and buildup before unveiling your accomplishments.

This allows them to have a greater impact and leave a lasting impression.

Rule 3: Choose your collaborators wisely.

You will often need at least one collaborator in whom you may have to entrust the secret of this trick.

In the pursuit of success, Choose your confidants and allies wisely, entrusting them with the secrets of your vision while ensuring they share your commitment to discretion.

Pick this person carefully and wisely.

RULE 4: Overcome the ego’s desire to be seen as smart by blabbing about the workings of the trick.

Be humble.

Always recognize that true mastery lies not in boasting about your methods but in allowing your achievements to speak for themselves.

This is perhaps the most profound of these rules.

Meditate on these rules and apply them strategically.

FINAL WORDS

You are part of the elite, already steps ahead of the common masses.

Remember, real mastery lies not in broadcasting your intentions but in allowing your achievements to be your checkmate – the moment when your silent moves become loud victories.

So, embrace the art of silence, trust in the process, and let your actions speak louder than words. The world is waiting to be captivated by the magical life you create when you achieve in silence and celebrate in style.

Your goal is Silent Moves, Loud Victories.

Life Truths: 13 Statements to Change Your Thinking

This is a list of simple life truths I found from a book – Habits of the Household by Justin Whitmel Earley. These statements reveal the simplicity and truth of living.

These truths should remind you on what life is really all about. No need to overcomplicate things. These truths might feel radical or religious, but the most radical truths are really simple ones.

Life Truths

Life Truths

  1. God is real. He loves you.

The Creator and Mastermind of the Universe loves you.

Everything happens for a reason. Every move you have made in your life. The freewill you receive to make your decisions. He loves you so you can willingly love him back.

It is because God cares for you.

  1. Good and evil exist. Good will win.

Light will always overcome darkness.

This is set in stone. You are salt and light, constantly facing the trials and tribulations in your life. Triumphs will be at the end of your tunnels.

Because you are good. And Good will always win.

  1. You are made in the image of God.

This is why man’s wants are insatiable.

You always want more.  It is why you want to leave a legacy and change the lives of people around you. This is the secret on why you crave to be appreciated and valued.

You want to achieve God hood.

  1. You are also fallen.

You are still human.

Mistakes will always happen. Imperfection and procrastination still creeps in. It’s the demerits of being human.

Your fragility is a result of man’s fall a long time ago.

  1. Jesus died for you. He also rose for you.

This is the celebration of Easter.

It was all because of you. He rose to eliminate your fall.

  1. God’s world is beautiful. We are tasked with caring for it.

The famous hymn – All things bright and beautiful perfectly captures this truth about life.

Keep appreciating nature and everything around you. Protect all things bright and beautiful. Preserve all creatures great and small.

You are the ultimate caretaker.

  1. Men and women exist.

You are not alone.

Fully embrace the fact that everyone from your family, friends to even strangers, has their own life story and experiences as vivid and complex as your own. Treat everyone equally with your full attention and respect.

It is why the Golden Rule exists – “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”

  1. Families happen when we unite.

Family is not an important thing. It’s everything.

They are like building blocks of a healthy world; we should try to keep them together, and not topple them over.

  1. Prayer is real; it changes you as much as it changes the world.

Prayer is your key to God’s door.

When you spend time with Him in prayer, you realize how powerful and able and good God is and how much you need him. This equips you for the battles you face every day.

Most importantly, prayer does not change God. It changes you.

  1. Life is hard, but God is with you.

No matter who you are, you have had your difficult times.

Life is hard because the world is broken, with so many people trying to ruin it for you. There’s hope because there is someone greater than every hardship. This person is victorious over every pain, and he is ready to walk with you through hard times.

Life becomes easy when you are one with God.

  1. Suffering will happen, but it will sanctify you.

As the saying goes – What does not kill you makes you stronger.

By going through difficult experiences, you build up your strength for your next battles. Even researchers found that early-career failure promotes future professional success. Whether you like it or not, you feel more brave and stronger after facing tough situations.

There is value in failure.

  1. Love is not a feeling, it is a sacrifice, usually in small things.

Love is an action word.

Be patient, kind and do not be envious. Do not dishonour others or angry all the time – rather be selfless, calm, and ready to forgive anyone. Always trust, hope, and persevere.

This is what it means to love.

  1. God loves you, period.

Your good deeds won’t change that; your bad deeds won’t change that.

These are the life-altering paradigms that come in just a couple of words.

The rest of your life is about living these truths, so it will be powerful to find a moment each day to just say one of them loud.

Sonder and Maintaining Your Main Character Energy

The concept of Sonder reminds me of the Justice League series.

I will explain why. When I was younger, it is one of my favorite cartoons to watch on a Saturday morning. The Justice League was a group of superheroes who banded together to make the universe a safer and better place. Even though they were together, each character had their own stories.

The Justice League worked better together, and each superhero was unique.

The Flash faced his own speedster villains. Batman always had a tragic back-story. Superman protected his Lois Lane. It’s the same thing today. We are all superheroes in our way.

And you are the main character.

Getting through your work and doing your job (or business) to make money is a multi-player game you are currently engaged in. However, your mindset and how happy or miserable you are – this is entirely up to you.

Because Life itself is a single-player game.

Life as a Single-Player Game

It’s like how Naval said.

“The reality is life is a single-player game. You’re born alone. You’re going to die alone. All of your interpretations are alone. All your memories are alone…. Before you showed up, nobody cared. It’s all single player.”

With this, it’s time to start thinking as a single player and being the main character.

What does it mean to be the main character

Being the main character means you will never be good being somebody else.

You are unique for your own storyline. Listen to the little voice inside your head that wants to do things a certain way. Find the people, business, project, or art that needs you the most.

Forget about the world of competition and comparison. Life may seem multiplayer, but the deep truth is that you are only competing against yourself.

Sit down and reflect on what it means to be a main character.

How to Maintain a Main Character Energy.

  1. Choose to build Yourself.

The greatest superpower you have as the main character is the ability to change yourself. Always be internally ready for a complete change. Also don’t spend time doing things you know ultimately aren’t part of your mission.

  1. Choose to Grow Yourself.

Here is a spoiler alert!

You don’t need to be the most successful person on the planet. Just be the most successful version of yourself while working the least hard possible. You want to live in a way that if your life played out 1,000 times, Zamai is successful 999 times.

  1. Choose to Free Yourself.

Be aware that are no “adults.”

Everyone makes it up as they go along. Find your own path, picking, choosing, and discarding as you see fit. Figure it out yourself and do it.

Value your time as well.

It is all you have. It’s more important than your money. It is more important than anything. Your time is all you have. Do not waste your time.

Adopt the Concept of Sonder.

Sonder was coined to explain that everyone around you has a rich inner world just like you do.

Sonder is a realization that everyone from your family, friends to even strangers, has their own life story and experiences as vivid and complex as your own.

Treat everyone you meet like a main character as well.

It is why the Golden Rule exists – “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”

When working, surround yourself with people more successful than you. When playing, surround yourself with people happier than you. – Naval Ravikant

And remember this…

There is no endpoint to being a main character. It’s a lifelong process you hopefully keep getting better and better at.

The only way is to keep moving forward.
